Verification

How to verify a file

Zento apps are not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen shows an “Unknown publisher” warning. The checksum confirms that the file is exactly the one published here.

  1. Step 1

    Open PowerShell (Win + X → “Terminal”) and compute the hash of the downloaded file:

    Get-FileHash "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\ZentoTweak-Setup-1.0.1.exe" -Algorithm SHA256

  2. Step 2

    Compare the Hash value with the file’s SHA256 shown above. Letter case does not matter. If they do not match, do not run the file; download it again instead.

  3. Step 3

    Run the installer. In the SmartScreen window, click “More info” → “Run anyway”, then confirm the administrator prompt.
